Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data The AI Donna collects and how we use it. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.

1. Information we collect

From business owners: your name, email (via Google sign-in), and the business details you enter (menu, hours, documents). From your customers: the name and phone number they provide when chatting with Donna, and their messages and orders. We do not ask customers for sensitive identifiers.

2. How we use it

To operate the Service: power Donna's replies, capture orders and bookings for you, and show you your dashboard. Each business's data is isolated and only accessible to that business.

3. AI processing

Customer messages and your business documents are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate replies. They are used to produce responses for your customers and are not sold.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with infrastructure providers (e.g. Google Firebase, Google Gemini) needed to run the Service, and where required by law.

5. Data security

We take protecting your data seriously:

• Private to your business.Each business's data is fully isolated — one business can never see another's orders, bookings, customers, or chats. This is enforced on our servers (authenticated access + database security rules), not just hidden in the interface.
• Encrypted. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on Google Cloud.
• Backed up. Your data is backed up automatically — continuous point-in-time recovery plus daily and weekly snapshots — so it can be restored if something goes wrong.
• Secure payments. Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay (a PCI-DSS-compliant provider). We never see or store your card or UPI details.
• Trusted infrastructure. The Service runs on Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure.

6. Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your business data by emailing us.

7. Your choices

You can edit or remove your business information at any time from your dashboard. To access or delete your data, contact ask@theaidonna.com.
